We started initially back then with only the Yamaha franchise which continued successfully for some years. Then in 2007 it was time to expand, and we became a Kawasaki then Aprilia. More recently we agreed terms with the Italian giants and became a Ducati dealership as well.
We now have 4 franchises, with one of the finest selections of used motorcycles and scooters under the one roof. Kawasaki, Ducati, Aprilia and Sym can all be seen here, with demonstrators available on selected models.

About Us
J&L Motorcycles in Carlisle was born in 2002. Created by John and Laurence, evolving from their love and passion for motorcycles. It was a small venture back at the start, with just a small shop and garage under the archway on English Damside which some of you may remember. We have always remembered our roots, so we just moved around the corner but made sure we've come a long way from those days!
