The Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia inspires a work of art by Italian artist Andrea Crespi

Ducati continues its journey into the world of art with a new chapter signed by Italian artist Andrea Crespi, author of a unique interpretation of the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia: a work that blends dynamism, style and speed in a new expressive dimension.

A project born from a shared vision: for Ducati, the love of beauty has always been an integral part of its DNA, a value that takes shape in motorcycles capable of combining technology and beauty and which naturally marries with the universal language of art. It is in this meeting space that the collaboration with Crespi takes shape, capable of translating the essence of the motorcycle into a visual work of significant impact.

His creation is inspired by the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia, a limited edition and numbered collector's motorcycle of just 163 units presented last March at the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy. A model that celebrates the Azzurro of the National sports teams, the same colour with which Ducati took first and second place at the Mugello Grand Prix in 2024.

Made on canvas in 1:1 scale, the work stands out for a sophisticated interweaving of blue lines, an evocative colour that recalls the original livery of the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia. The fluid and never intersecting trajectories create an optical illusion of movement and depth, projecting the perception of speed into a new and engaging artistic dimension.

From this work comes a limited series of 163 lithographs, reserved for enthusiasts who have chosen the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia. Each lithograph, numbered and signed by Crespi, bears the same number as the model of the motorcycle to which it is combined, to underline its uniqueness and exclusivity.

The protagonist of a special moment that took place on Friday 13 June at the Ducati headquarters in Borgo Panigale, Andrea Crespi is one of the emerging Italian artistic voices of the new generation, known for his ability to merge the physical and digital dimensions. His works, exhibited in prestigious locations such as the Triennale di Milano, the CAFA Art Museum in Beijing, Times Square in New York and Art Dubai, create optical illusions where lines and shapes merge and mutate, revealing the subject always in a new way depending on the point of view and the instrument of observation, whether it is the naked eye or the lens of a camera. An approach that, in dialogue with Ducati, highlights shared values: attention to detail, aesthetic research, the balance between tradition and innovation, and a vision of movement as an authentic and emotional experience, in which technology amplifies perception.

A collaboration that further enriches Ducati's journey into the world of art. Over the years, this journey has taken shape in works such as Fortitudo Mea Levitate, an Acquabianca marble sculpture inspired by the aesthetics of the Panigale, and in the participation in Arte Fiera 2024 and 2025, with the Officina Arte Ducati Award dedicated to the works of young artists close to the values ??of the brand.

Ducati was also a protagonist at Design Week for two consecutive editions: in 2024 with the exhibition “Forma – Feelings designed by Ducati in Borgo Panigale”, an immersive journey into the creative process that gives life to the Borgo Panigale motorcycles, and in 2025 with a joint event with Lamborghini for the presentation of the exclusive Panigale V4 Lamborghini. Also, this year, the Panigale V4 was exhibited at the Golinelli Foundation as part of the “From Origin to Destiny” exhibition, which explores human cultural progress by emphasizing speed as an evolutionary force between technology, science and art. At an international level, Ducati took part in the Art Basel week in Miami Beach, where it presented the Panigale V4 Tricolore in an exclusive off-site event.

Andrea Crespi’s work will become part of the private collection of Borgo Panigale supported by the Ducati Foundation, alongside the winning works of the Officina Arte Ducati Award selected during Arte Fiera: “Ossicodone 2” by Alberto Tadiello and “There is so much we can learn from the sun” by Marinella Senatore. Through the Ducati Foundation, in fact, the motorcycle manufacturer supports artistic projects that embody its constant search for beauty, celebrating creativity, the culture of know-how and Italian excellence.

Starting in July, Crespi’s work will also be on display at the Ducati Museum as part of a temporary exhibition.

Charley Boorman and Andrea Rossi ride the Multistrada V4S

Motorcycle adventurer Charley Boorman and enduro and rally rider Andrea Rossi ride the 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4S and explore its many features, including different trims, handling, comfort, and advanced tech like adaptive cruise control and integrated navigation.

Watch the video below and join Charlie and Andrea as they start their ride from Bologna, climbing the first section of the Ratikosa Pass.

Charley Boorman
“If you can only have one bike then the Multistrada does everything. You can have a sports bike in the mountains, a comfortable bike on the highway, you can go on the dirt, have it for daily use. Thanks to the weight distribution it's really good in traffic, so you can have a bit of everything.

If it was my choice, and hand on my heart I've ridden most of the bikes out there, if they were all lined up I would walk to the Multistrada.”

Ducati helps BikeSafe improve UK road safety

  • Ducati UK is supporting BikeSafe by providing a Panigale V4S to be used by the police-led project to improve bikers' safety
  • The Panigale V4S is the latest in a long line of Ducatis to be used by BikeSafe for their vital road safety work
  • BikeSafe helps thousands of UK riders every year by providing post-licence training to improve their skills, knowledge and understanding of how to become a better and safer rider

Ducati UK is writing a new chapter in the long history of its work with BikeSafe, the police-led project designed to improve the safety of motorcycle riders in the UK.

This year, Ducati is providing BikeSafe with a brand-new police-liveried Panigale V4S to be used for rider training, road safety events and track days. Through BikeSafe, professional police riders from across the UK help riders recognise the benefits of ongoing post-test rider training, ultimately aiming to make the roads safer for everyone. The Panigale V4S provided by Ducati UK follows a long line of similar models Ducati has made available to BikeSafe for this vital road safety work over the years.

The new seventh-generation Panigale V4 is the ultimate synthesis of design and technology. With its MotoGP-derived Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine pumping out 216hp, the Panigale V4S is as close as you can get to a Grand Prix-winning racebike on the road. Crucially for BikeSafe, the Panigale V4S is also a highly sophisticated road bike, with an arsenal of safety features that will help spark conversations, aid training, and ultimately keep riders safe on the roads. Cornering ABS, traction and wheelie control are features that many BikeSafe customers will recognise, but the Panigale V4S is also equipped with Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO), developed by Ducati Corse. This algorithm can simulate the input of 70 sensors and measure their physical quantities for a precise estimate of the levels of intervention of the traction and wheelie control systems. These systems can intervene in almost predictive mode, boosting both performance and safety. This will truly take BikeSafe training to the next level.

The Panigale V4S will attract riders at BikeSafe events and spark conversations about road safety and the importance of ongoing training. It will also be the perfect tool for police officers to demonstrate advanced riding techniques and safety features, such as cornering ABS and traction control, highlighting how these technologies can prevent accidents.

The bike was revealed at the Ducati track day at Donington Park on Thursday 1 May, where Ducati clients had the chance to test the new bikes on track, and the newly liveried police bike led a procession of motorcycles and Ducatisti around the track on a parade lap.

Simon Blatchly OBE, Deputy Chief Constable at Derbyshire Constabulary and NPCC Lead – Motorcycles & BikeSafe
“I am pleased to be part of this pioneering partnership with Ducati which promises to help develop and drive advancements in motorcycle safety. The Panigale V4S is a symbol of our commitment to making the roads safer.

By leveraging Ducati's appeal we can engage riders in meaningful conversations about safety and training. This collaboration allows us to reach out to the biking community in a way that truly resonates, making a real difference in reducing accidents and saving lives.”

Fabrizio Cazzoli, Managing Director for Ducati UK
“Ducati is incredibly proud to support BikeSafe in its mission to enhance rider safety. This partnership allows us to give back to the biking community by promoting safe riding practices and supporting initiatives that make the roads safer for everyone. We want every rider to experience the joy of riding, but with the utmost respect for safety.

“Our bikes naturally draw attention, and this partnership gives us the opportunity to channel that interest into promoting safe riding practices.”

Multistrada V4 MY2024 winner of the maxi-adventure comparison against the best representatives of the segment

In the Motorrad Issue 20/2024, the Ducati Multistrada V4 S won the comparative test against the best representatives of the maxi-adventure segment – namely, the BMW R 1300 GS, the KTM 1290 SuperAdventure S, the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 Special and the Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Pro.

Motorrad is the leading motorcycle publication in Germany. Known and respected worldwide as one of the most relevant, reliable and authoritative motorcycle motorcycle media, it is considered a reference by customers and manufacturers because of their testing protocol and “1000 points” evaluation system. Such system renders make it possible to evaluate and confront objectively any aspect of the motorcycles, guaranteeing a fair, demonstrable outcome in both single and comparative tests.

It is all too relevant, then, that the Ducati Multistrada V4 S was declared the winner of the comparative test against the complete parterre of the adversaries in the segment, with clear areas of success against the competition, namely the engine and the safety of its chassis and electronic controls.

What is especially relevant is that the Multistrada V4 S has been evaluated as definitely better against the second-placed rival – the BMW R 1300 GS – regarding the comfort of the seat, the ergonomics of the passenger, the aerodynamic protection, the equipment and the maintenance costs, thanks to the 60.000 km interval for valve clearance checking. And it is also worth noting that the areas in which the Multistrada was found lacking towards the respective best bikes in class are the pillion comfort and the fuel consumption – areas in which the new Multistrada V4 S MY 2025 has been substantially improve, thanks to the optimized DSS suspension, the repositioning of the side panniers system and the introduction of the Extended Deactivation strategy. Moreover, enhancements like the new, optimized chassis, the Automatic Lowering Device, the new Ducati Skyhook Suspension with Bump detection, the Ducati Brake Light Evo and the Forward Collision Warning render the new model even more effective, safe, enjoyable and comfortable.

  • Two years after its presentation, the Diavel V4 has already obtained important design awards worldwide, distinguishing itself as an authentic style icon

Borgo Panigale (Bologna, Italy), 22 May 2024 – The Ducati Diavel V4 has been awarded “Best of the Best” in the Product Design category at the 2024 Red Dot Awards. This recognition, among the most illustrious at an international level, every year celebrates excellence in the world of design and confirms the uniqueness that characterise the motorcycles designed and created in Borgo Panigale.

Ducati pays homage to Ayrton Senna with a collector’s limited edition Monster

  • A limited and numbered edition motorcycle dedicated to the Formula 1® legend, a passionate motorcyclist and Ducatista
  • The livery of the motorcycle, created by the Centro Stile Ducati with the participation of Senna Brands, is inspired by the colour of the helmet that the Brazilian wore throughout his career
  • The Monster Senna will be produced in just 341 units with components that enhance its sportiness
  • The Formula 1® Grand Prix at Imola set the scene for the presentation of the bike, unveiled by Claudio Domenicali, Bianca Senna and Stefano Domenicali
Imola (Bologna, Italy), 16 May 2024 – Ducati pays homage to Ayrton Senna by presenting a collector's limited edition Monster honouring the extraordinary career of the Brazilian racing driver and the legacy he left behind. The limited number of units is a tribute to the legend: 341. 3 is the number of World Titles won by Senna in Formula 1®. 41 is the number of Grands Prix that Ayrton finished celebrating on the top step of the podium.

The Monster Senna special edition aims to be a celebration of the solid relationship that was established between Ducati and the Brazilian champion. A mutual passion between two motorsport legends that the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer still cultivates today through the relationship with Ayrton's family and with Senna Brands. This collaboration led to the definition of the special livery, designed by the Centro Stile Ducati.

The choice of the Monster as the model to create this limited edition is also linked to the history of Ayrton, who was one of the very first owners of the Monster 900, which he used for moving around in Monte Carlo and on which he showed up at the gala evening of the 1993 Monaco F1® Grand Prix. Ayrton liked the Monster's simple concept of wanting to bring fun in riding to the centre of the motorcycling experience: a sporty engine, perfect for road use, chassis derived from the Superbike, wide handlebars and no fairing.
The Monster Senna pays homage to the talent of the three-time World Champion with a special livery that is inspired by the colour of the helmet that the driver wore in races throughout his career with parts in yellow, green and blue, clear homages to the Brazilian flag.

The presentation of the motorcycle dedicated by Ducati to Senna took place in the paddock of the Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack at Imola on the occasion of the Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Formula 1® Grand Prix. The memory of the bond between Senna and Ducati was conveyed through the words of Claudio Domenicali (Ducati CEO), Bianca Senna (Senna Brands CEO) with a contribution also from Stefano Domenicali (Formula 1® President and CEO).

Claudio Domenicali, Ducati Motor Holding CEO: ” Ayrton Senna was and will forever stand as an icon. A sports legend, an extraordinary person, but also a passionate motorcyclist, whom we wish to honour with a special edition of one of the most iconic models in our range: the Monster. Senna was one of the very first owners of the Monster 900 and perfectly represented the values of this bike: style, boldness and fun. The Monster Senna is a demonstration of how honoured we are to define a champion of this incredible level a true Ducatista.”

Bianca Senna, Senna Brands CEO: “The partnership with Ducati is historic and very relevant to this day. The Monster is a perfect motorcycle to recall Ayrton's lifestyle, focused on high performance but with the ability to enjoy moments of leisure. Fans around the world who admire Ayrton will find this partnership a genuine tribute to his legacy.

The story of Ducati and Ayrton Senna
The paths of Ducati and Ayrton Senna crossed for the first time in 1990, when Claudio Castiglioni, then owner of Ducati and a passionate fan of Senna and his innate talent, gave the three-time world champion an 851 SP. In the following years Senna and Ducati realised that they had many values in common, and when the World Champion saw the new Ducati 916 in person he was absolutely fascinated by it, giving rise to the idea of ??a collaboration on a special project capable of uniting the Ducati brand and the Senna brand.

Thus was born the Ducati 916 Senna, a motorcycle characterised by a livery chosen by the Brazilian driver personally, opting for a contrasting graphic between anthracite grey, matt black and red, which became iconic in the following years. The special series, limited to just 300 units, was announced by Ducati in March 1994.

The tragic accident in which Ayrton Senna lost his life occurred a few months before the start of production of the Ducati 916 Senna and stopped every operation linked to Ayrton, but the subsequent discussion between Ducati and Senna's family convinced the parties to go ahead with the project in Ayrton's memory, with the presentation taking place at the 1994 Motor Show. The first series was sold out in a very short time, and was then followed by two more in 1997 and 1998 with colours chosen by Ayrton's brother, Leonardo Senna.

The collaboration with Senna Brands resumed in 2014 with the 1199 Panigale, on the basis of which a limited series of 161 units was created – the same as the number of Grands Prix raced by Ayrton – reserved for the Brazilian market. All Ducati Sennas are highly sought after by collectors all over the world.

Benchmark components
The Monster Senna is equipped with components which, in addition to embellishing its look, also improve the dynamic qualities of the bike and which allow it to reach a curb weight without fuel of 175 kg, i.e. 4 kg less than the standard model, already a category benchmark for lightness.

The Monster, a modern reinterpretation of the original recipe, is a light, easy to handle, fast motorcycle. It is powered by the Testastretta 11° engine, a liquid-cooled 4-valve twin-cylinder with desmodromic distribution producing 111 horsepower, reliable and fun thanks to a full delivery curve at all rpm. It features an extremely functional and effective chassis inspired by Ducati Superbikes, fully adjustable and sporty Öhlins suspension, forged wheels, a sophisticated braking system with Brembo Stylema® front calipers and aluminium flanges for the brake discs, and top of the segment electronics.

The aesthetics of the Monster Senna, in addition to the special colouring, are embellished by the yellow/green/blue tag on the black rims, specially made for this model, and by the yellow on the brake calipers and on the Termignoni homologated carbon fibre silencers. Other distinctive elements of this model are the special seat, the matching engine guard and the dedicated dashboard animation, which starts when the ignition is turned on.

Finally, each motorbike is made unique by a plaque on the triple clamp with the model name and number of the bike, as well as by a certificate of authenticity and the presence of a dedicated motorcycle cover.

The dedicated page on Ducati.com contains all the information about this special bike, along with the history of the relationship between Ducati and Senna.

The presentation video of the bike is available on the Ducati YouTube channel.

Ducati presents the limited-edition cover kit for the Icon version and the clothing capsule collection in collaboration with Van Orton

  • The limited edition customisation kit for the Ducati Scrambler Icon, available in only 50 units, is based on the special version created for the Next-Gen Tour
  • The cover kit, which can be ordered in Ducati dealerships, will be delivered in a dedicated box, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a series of surprises in “Land of Joy” style
  • The collaboration between Scrambler Ducati and Van Orton extends further with the launch of a capsule collection of clothing with a contemporary design and a strong personality
  • The presentation of this first exclusive series of interchangeable covers confirms the importance of customisation in the Scrambler Ducati universe: the Van Orton kit joins 9 other colours available for the Icon version
Borgo Panigale (Bologna, Italy), 9 May 2024 – After the enormous success obtained in the European legs of the Next-Gen Tour, the cover kit for the Ducati Scrambler Icon customised by Van Orton Design now becomes a limited edition, available in only 50 units.

This first exclusive collection of interchangeable covers confirms the importance of the concept of customisation within the Scrambler Ducati universe, which has always wanted to represent a space in which to enjoy the pleasure of riding and self-expression. This latter concept specifically inspired the talent of Van Orton Design, an Italian duo among the most important exponents of European digital art, in the creation of this unique and colourful cover kit , in which their artistic identity merges with Scrambler Ducati creativity.

The collaboration between Scrambler Ducati and Van Orton evolves further with the launch of a capsule collection, characterised by a contemporary design and a strong personality: a collection of unisex streetwear-inspired clothing, in which the exploration of materials and new styles contributes to the creation of unmistakable garments.

The “Van Orton x Scrambler Ducati” cover kit can already be ordered in the Ducati dealerships. It will be delivered inside a special box with dedicated graphics in which the kit will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a series of surprises in true “Land of Joy” style, including some collectible stickers to be used on any occasion or to make your bike even more unique. The capsule collection will soon be available for purchase in Ducati dealerships.

The Scrambler models within the Ducati range are the perfect choice for those who want to express their personality through a motorcycle with a unique and recognisable design, dynamic and fun, accessible and safe for everyday use. A motorcycle designed for those seeking freedom and wanting to share their style and way of being with others.

The Desmodue engine of the new Scrambler Ducati generation has been modernised in its contents and is now equipped with a new eight-plate clutch, which is smoother in operation. The clutch is also more compact, thus allowing the lateral bulk of its cover to be reduced and offering more space for the rider's foot. The new Ducati Scrambler has also been renewed in its technical contents and lightened by a total of 4 kg, thus obtaining a more manageable and easy to ride bike.

The new Scrambler Ducati is even more fun and safer thanks to the introduction of Ride by Wire accelerator management. This solution makes the engine response prompt and progressive at every speed and throttle opening angle, and allows the adoption of Ducati Traction Control, thus enabling the personality of the bike to be changed through two Riding Modes. The standard equipment is completed by ABS cornering, essential for making riding even safer.

To always stay connected with the “Land of Joy” Scrambler Ducati it is possible to browse the dedicated website, which has recently been renewed both graphically and in terms of functionality with the aim of making the family take a “step forward” also from the point of view of the digital ecosystem.

Various materials relating to the collaboration with Van Orton are available on the Scrambler Ducati website and social media channels, including video clips created with the 3D technique.
