Ducati Multistrada V4: a new colour, electronic updates and new accessories available for 2022

- The colour range of the Multistrada V4 S expands with the new Iceberg White livery, available from March 2022
- Electronic innovations are the introduction of the Minimum Preload system and infotainment updates: they will also be available free of charge for those who already own the bike
- Improvements have also been made for the Ducati Performance accessories line which is enriched with two important elements: lowered suspension kit and aluminium bags
Borgo Panigale (Bologna, Italy), 24 February 2022 – With almost 10,000 motorcycles delivered worldwide, the Multistrada V4 ended 2021 as the best-selling and most popular family in the Ducati range. In its first year on the market, the Multistrada V4 was able to confirm the expectations created since the day of its presentation, establishing itself as an ideal motorcycle for any kind of trip.
The fourth generation of Multistrada has conquered many new Ducatisti. The Multistrada V4 is effective on all types of road, thanks to the dynamic qualities and smooth delivery of the V4 Granturismo engine, which guarantee a sporty and exhilarating ride on mixed roads and provide easy off-road riding. The bike features state-of-the-art technology : it is the first motorcycle in the world equipped with front and rear radar, with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Blind Spot Detection (BSD) systems which represent a precious aid to riding comfort and safety, especially on long journeys. In addition, the Multistrada V4 has benchmark maintenance intervals with valve clearance control set every 60,000 km and all models of the family have the exclusive “4Ever Ducati” warranty, valid for 4 years with unlimited mileage*.
The success of the Ducati Multistrada V4 is proven not only by the feedback from the specialized press, but also by the satisfaction of the enthusiasts who have chosen to purchase it. This is a further incentive for Ducati to continue developing the project in 2022. The main goal, pursued through constant research and development work, is to continuously improve the bike by taking into account all of the needs of the Ducatisti, ensuring available updates and introducing new features on the production bikes.
The first new feature for the Multistrada V4 family in 2022 concerns the colour range of the S version, which expands with the addition of the new Iceberg White livery. It is a glossy white colour that enhances the refined lines of the bike. The Iceberg White Multistrada V4 S will be available in Ducati dealerships starting from March and joins the Ducati Red and Aviator Grey colour options. The bike can be ordered in four different trims (Essential, Radar, Travel & Radar, Full), which can be viewed in the dedicated section of the Ducati website .
For the electronic package, the main update lies in a new semi-automatic function of the electronic suspension for the Multistrada V4 S, called Minimum Preload. This feature allows you to reduce the height of the motorcycle and makes it easier and safer to place your feet on the ground during city use or when manoeuvring at low speed, especially with a passenger on board.
Another important software update concerns the interaction between the rider and the bike, which is now more functional thanks to the improvements implemented in the Infotainment (Ducati Connect) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) areas.
The new package of updates is available both as a standard feature on new motorcycles and free of charge for those who already own a Multistrada V4 S, confirming the continuous attention that the Bologna-based manufacturer reserves for its enthusiasts. Multistrada owners who can take advantage of these new features will be contacted gradually through the MyDucati App and via email and will then be able to go to their trusted Ducati Service to receive the updates**.
The improvements made by Ducati to the Multistrada V4 project for 2022 also concern the Ducati Performance accessories line, which is enriched with two important elements: the lowered suspension kit and a set of aluminium bags.
The lowered suspension kit, available as accessory*** for the Multistrada V4 S, consists of fork springs, shock absorber springs and side stand, designed to reduce the saddle height from the ground by 20 mm. Equipped with the lowered suspension kit, the Multistrada V4 offers greater confidence at low speeds, while maintaining the dynamic characteristics typical of this model. With the introduction of the lowered suspension kit, the seat height range of the Multistrada V4 is even wider. The low saddle (-30 mm) and raised saddle (+15 mm) accessory gives the rider the possibility to choose in a range between 790 and 875 mm to find the configuration that best suits his physical characteristics and riding style.
The latest addition to the Multistrada family is designed for motorcyclists who have a strong aptitude for travelling. In fact, starting from April 2022, the aluminium side panniers and top case, designed by the Centro Stile Ducati and made in collaboration with Givi, will be included in the catalogue. The considerable total capacity (76 litres for the side panniers and 41 litres for the top case) allows motorcyclists to take everything they need with them for each trip. The cases are designed to be filled from above, in order to maximize capacity and facilitate loading and unloading.
To further increase practicality, internal bags are also available as an accessory, made of resistant waterproof fabric with heat-sealed seams and customized with the Ducati Performance logo. These comfortable bags are created to make the most of the available space and keep everything in order inside the cases. The practical handles also allow you to carry them as hand luggage, making them a versatile product, capable of optimizing comfort and functionality on every journey.
* ”4Ever Ducati” warranty is valid only in EU countries
** The software update campaign will start in EU countries and progressively extend to America, Australia, Japan and APAC countries.

The passion for Ducati has never been greater. With 59,447 motorcycles sold worldwide, 2021 is the best year ever

Ducati concluded 2021 with a record figure of 59,447 motorcycles delivered to customers all over the world and achieving an increase in sales of + 24% over 2020 (48,042) and + 12% over 2019 (53,183).
Claudio Domenicali, Ducati CEO: “2021 was a magical year for Ducati. We delivered over 59,000 motorcycles, a number never achieved before in 95 years of the company's history. We also won the title of MotoGP Constructors' World Champion for the second consecutive year, and we started the electric era of our company with the V21L prototype, which foresees the bike that will race in the MotoE championship from 2023. The pandemic, which is still underway, in addition to generating so much suffering, has also made activities more complex, forcing us to conduct a continuous internal reorganization. Supply chains created delivery delays for which I want to apologize to all Ducatisti, thanking them for their patience. Despite all these difficulties, the desire to excel of our employees here in Borgo Panigale and in our subsidiaries around the world helped us to achieve these record results. We are investing in an extremely ambitious growth path that will lead the company to improve even further, by entering new market segments. With the DesertX we will have from this year on an extremely attractive proposal for adventure fans, and other ambitious projects are currently in development. The core values ??of the brand – Style, Sophistication, Performance and Trust – are more current than ever. Future growth will take place in compliance with these values, offering our enthusiastic customers products that are increasingly representative with a unique mix of beauty, technology and distinctiveness, such as the best of Made in Italy.”
In 2021 Ducati’s growth came in all the main countries, starting with the United States, which regained the place of leading market for Ducati with 9,007 units which corresponds to an increase of 32% on 2020, followed by Italy with 8,707 bikes (+ 23% on 2020) and by Germany with 6,107 units (+ 11% on 2020). The Chinese market also grew with 4,901 motorcycles (+ 21%), as well as the French one with 4,352 (+ 12%) and the UK one with 2,941 units (+ 30%).
Francesco Milicia, Ducati VP Global Sales and After Sales: “With 59,447 motorcycles delivered to customers, Ducati notches up a historic record and once again underlines its solidity, despite the difficulties encountered across all sectors due to the supplies crisis. Sales grew double-digit in all major countries, from the United States to Australia, where the new subsidiary achieved an increase of 50%. These results are also the outcome of extraordinary work aimed at the continuous improvement of the global sales network both in quantitative terms, with 84 new dealerships, and in qualitative terms, focusing on the digitization of processes and omnichannel to guarantee our Ducatisti an “unforgettable” experience, which fully reflects the company's values. Now we are starting 2022 with an even more complete range, which is already receiving high praise as demonstrated by the best order portfolio ever at the beginning of the year.”
The enormous success obtained during the year is confirmed for the Multistrada V4, which was by far the biggest-selling and most-loved bike for Ducatisti in 2021 with 9,957 motorcycles delivered to customers. The Ducati Scrambler 800 family followed with 9,059 units and the Monster with 8,734 motorcycles sold.
These results were achieved despite the unpredictable situation generated by the supply crisis that has been on-going for some time. It is still a very volatile situation and is destined to continue further.
For 2022, Ducati presented nine new models to the public during the Ducati World Première web series, helping to create an even more complete range ready to satisfy the desires of every type of motorcyclist. Expectations are particularly high for the DesertX, the Ducati bike designed to tackle the most demanding off-roads with 21″ front and 18″ rear wheels, long suspension travel and ample ground clearance. A motorcycle that takes Ducati into a whole new world, a symbol of how the brand can widen its horizons without losing its roots and its sporting identity, as proven by the Panigale V4 which, in its latest evolutionary step, becomes the closest vehicle to a MotoGP bike that a motorcyclist can ride.
The Multistrada V4 to explore China in the documentary “Ducati Multistrada V4 Silk Road Grand Tour”
The Multistrada V4 explores China in the documentary “Ducati Multistrada V4 Silk Road Grand Tour”: a memorable adventure divided into five episodes that will be published monthly on Ducati’s digital channels.
“Ducati Multistrada V4 Silk Road Grand Tour” is a unique riding story aboard the Multistrada V4 that highlights the beauty and the unique cultures of iconic locations in China and at the same time the qualities and versatility of the Borgo Panigale crossover bike, which on this journey has been able to prove once again that it is the perfect companion on all types of terrain.
The shooting of the documentary lasted about two months, during which the Multistrada V4 travelled over 10,000 kms , crossing five different provinces and 2,000 years of history. The journey touched locations such as Inner Mongolia grasslands, Gobi Desert, Yunnan tropical rainforests and the mountain city of Chongqing.
In each of the five episodes, a special rider illustrates a different aspect of the Multistrada V4, writing a page of this itinerary to discover the local traditions and the unique landscapes.
In the first episode, Zhao Hongyi, the first Chinese rider to have completed Dakar race, brings his family to discover the wild beauty of Xinjiang. In the second episode, Wen Congping and 9 representatives of Ducati dealerships in China travel along the road that connects Wuhan to Suizhou to take part in a charity project together with “Shangzhen Central Primary School”. The third episode sees the Multistrada V4 tackle the mountain roads of the city of Chongqing ridden by Xu Qun, an expert in the automotive sector. The fourth episode instead has the Yunnan tropical forest as its protagonist with the influencer Chen Zhen who was able to appreciate the versatility of the Multistrada V4 on a varied and colourful route. Finally, in the fifth episode Luo Hao and the singer Mao Chuan cross the vast grasslands of Inner Mongolia, experiencing the sense of freedom typical of travelling by motorcycle in company.
Such a varied journey has helped to enhance the attitude and potential of the Multistrada V4: a complete bike on any terrain, capable of dominating all roads. The latest V4 Granturismo engine is always ready to give a sporty ride, the state-of-the-art technology makes every journey comfortable thanks to the front and rear radar and the integrated navigation system, while the electronic suspension and the surprisingly fluid power delivery proved to be up to par also for the challenging routes
The next episodes of the “Ducati Multistrada V4 Silk Road Grand Tour” will be published on Ducati.com website over the next few months.

The wildest travel dreams come true with the Ducati DesertX: a motorcycle born to enhance the adventure thrill without setting any limits
- 21” front wheel and 18” rear, long travel suspension and generous ground clearance: the DesertX is designed to perfectly tackle the most demanding off-road
- Powered by Testastretta 11° engine, the new DesertX guarantees a comfortable, easy and safe ride in a variety of travel situations thanks to the obsessive attention to ergonomics, in-depth aerodynamic studies as well as latest-generation technological features
- The new Ducati DesertX was unveiled to the public in the sixth episode of the Ducati World Première 2022
Borgo Panigale (Bologna, Italy), 9 December 2021 – In the sixth episode of the Ducati World Première 2022 , the new DesertX was unveiled to all motorcycle enthusiasts
The new DesertX is a bike with an intense off-road attitude, that effectively enlarges the boundaries of what can be done with a Ducati. Desert dunes, narrow off-road paths, gravel roads and mountainous twisties: with DesertX travellers dreams know no more limits.
Fitted with 21” front wheel and 18” rear, the new DesertX has been designed to tackle even the most demanding off-road. The specifically off-road-focused development matched with Ducati valuable road expertise give life to a responsive, easy-to-approach bike, at ease on any route and asphalt.
The DesertX project was born in 2019 when Ducati presented the eponymous concept to the public, generating a strong and positive reaction from motorcyclists around the world. This important feedback gave the Bologna-based manufacturer the decisive push to transform that concept into this functional, competent and effective motorcycle.
The design of the DesertX represents a contemporary interpretation of the lines of the Enduro motorcycles of the ‘80s, created by the Ducati Centro Stile in keeping with essentiality and robustness criteria.
The bike is visually composed of 3 macro elements: a unique volume that includes the tank and the side shields, the saddle and the windshield that embodies the distinctive double headlight and further reinforces the uniqueness of this bike. Additionally, stylistic emphasis is given by the use of black and white areas. The surfaces in contact with the rider are properly large and harmoniously connected to better support every off-road riding phase.
The chassis layout of the new Ducati DesertX includes a new steel trellis frame, which works in combination with long travel suspension with dedicated settings, to ensure effective operation even in the most demanding off-road conditions. The optimisation of all components led to an efficient bike, all packed in 202 kg (dry weight). The choices in terms of chassis make DesertX an easy bike to ride and able to give the right dose of feeling and safety on any surface. Furthermore, the new DesertX offers a great capacity to absorb road imperfections.
On suspension front, the DesertX stands out for its premium fitting. It is offered with 46 mm diameter upside-down Kayaba fork with 230 mm travel and Kayaba monoshock. Both elements are adjustable in compression, rebound and preload. The Kayaba monoshock is perfectly married to the aluminium swingarm and allows a rear wheel travel of 220 mm. In addition, the new DesertX has a generous 250 mm ground clearance, which results particularly suitable for more extreme off-road adventures.
It is noteworthy that the new DesertX features unprecedented tyres size for a Ducati: 21” at the front and 18” at the rear. The original equipment tyres are the Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR, 90/90-21 and 150/70 R18: the perfect choice for a brilliant all-round use of the bike. DesertX will also be homologated to fit both off and on-road-oriented tyres.
Like all Ducati motorcycles the braking system of this new bike benefits from ABS Cornering function. The front features Brembo M50 monobloc radial calipers with four 30 mm diameter pistons, axial pump with adjustable levers and double 320 mm discs with aluminium flanges. At the rear there is a single 265 mm diameter disc on which works a twin-piston floating caliper, always by Brembo. The braking power setting has been conceived to offer great modulability in off-road driving as well as on slippery surfaces, not to mention the fact that it grants the right dose of power in road use.
The ergonomics of the new DesertX have been developed over long and demanding off-road and on-asphalt test sessions. The saddle-footrest-handlebar triangulation gives its best in stand-up riding and offers a good level of comfort even on on-road riding. The result is a bike with an extremely slim fitting area and perfectly linked surfaces that guarantee the rider maximum control and handling. Saddle is 875 mm high. The combination of a particularly narrow inner leg curve and initial suspension compliance ensures good contact with the ground. The saddle height can still be reduced by means of a lowered saddle (available as an accessory) and can be further lowered thanks to an ad hoc kit.
Ducati technicians have also worked hard on a full suite of contents, that make DesertX a true enjoyable tool on every road. The riding position, for example, results even more comfortable for rider and passenger alike, thanks to the definition of shape and padding targeted for each of the two seats. Heat management is studied in detail with openings and flows of fresh air whilst aerodynamic protection is ensured by the great care taken in defining the shape and size of the original windshield and the even more protective accessory one.
Proper range to face longer journeys is guaranteed by the fuel tank with over 21 l of capacity and thus offering the opportunity of mounting a second tank (available as accessory) in the rear area, adding further 8 l of fuel. Fuel transfer from the rear to the front tank is enabled when the fuel level in the main tank falls below a certain level and can be activated from the dashboard.
DesertX also has an excellent load capacity, almost 120 l of volume available including bags and aluminium top case. The specific choice of tubeless tyres is functional to the journey and to safety. It allows a combination of greater reliability, greater safety in the event of a puncture and easier repair.
The admired 937 cc liquid-cooled Testastretta 11° Desmodromic valvetrain engine is the heart of the new DesertX. Characterized by an excellent reliability, this engine delivers 110 hp at 9,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 92 Nm at 6,500 rpm* in Euro5 configuration.
Solid Ducati performance is combined with regular and always manageable delivery, providing the rider with a bike capable of tackling any route with great confidence. The engine can count on all the improvements already seen on the Monster and Multistrada V2, including the extremely light and compact 8-disc clutch and the gearbox equipped with a geardrum mounted on bearings to reduce friction and improve precision and smoothness while shifting. This contributes also to a reduction of the total weight of the engine of 1.7 kg compared to the previous version.
To offer the best performance in off-road riding and in various uses, the Testastretta 11° has been specifically optimised. In fact, the gearbox has different dedicated ratios with respect to those of the Multistrada V2. As a matter of fact the ratios have been shortened overall on all gears up to fifth, to ensure the best off-road behaviour. First and second gears, in particular, are much shorter, in order to facilitate the low-speed driving phases of certain difficult passages typical of off-road use. Sixth gear is properly long to facilitate highway handling while maintaining low engine speeds; this means a contained fuel consumption and an increased level of comfort.
A special mention is deserved by state-of-the-art electronic systems, which offer first-rate performance and safety also in terms of rider aids. New DesertX in fact comes with 6 Riding Modes working in combination with 4 Power Modes – Full, High, Medium, Low – that modify the power and responsiveness of the Testastretta engine. The main new features are specific settings for the Enduro Riding Mode and the introduction of the new Rally Riding Mode, in addition to Sport, Touring, Urban and Wet.
To be precise, the Enduro Riding Mode, thanks to the reduced power and the specially designed control settings, allows the rider to tackle the most demanding dirt roads with greater safety and makes it easier for less experienced users to ride off-road. The Rally Riding Mode, on the other hand, with full engine power and reduced electronic controls, is designed for more experienced riders who want to make the most of DesertX's off-road performance.
Each Riding Mode, also thanks to the presence of the Bosch IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), can change the character of the bike according to the rider’s input, by acting on the intervention levels of the various electronic controls: Engine Brake Control (EBC), Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) Up & Down and ABS Cornering.
ABS Cornering, in particular, can be set on 3 levels to be able to adapt to whatever situation and rider skill. In the Riding Modes dedicated to off-road (Enduro and Rally), ABS Cornering can also be completely deactivated via the switch cube with a specific button.
The dashboard of the DesertX, vertically oriented and positioned to offer clear information also in stand-up riding, features a high resolution 5” full-TFT colour display. The instrumentation is predispose to integrate the Ducati Multimedia System which allows the rider to connect the phone, thus activating new functions such as music and incoming/outgoing calls or Turn-by-Turn navigation** (optional), which displays directions directly on the dashboard.
The rider is offered the opportunity to choose between two as-standard Info Modes: Standard and Rally. The Standard option provides for all the road information: tachometer and speedometer are clearly visible, as well as the engaged gear, fuel level and other useful journey information. The trip master function is part of the Rally Info Mode. This simulates the operation of the trip master used in rally motorcycles and allows to manually adjust the odometer indication, using the buttons on the left switch cube.
Premium technological features are also represented by the lighting system, which is full LED . The double front headlight has two twin-function poly-ellipsoidal modules with Daytime Running Light (DRL) and has been designed to ensure excellent visibility, particularly important for a motorcycle capable of travelling in all conditions. The rear light is equipped with the Ducati Brake Light, a particular system that, in the event of sudden braking, automatically activates the flashing of the rear light to alert the following vehicles, a solution that further improves rider’s safety.
Such multi-faceted motorcycle can be further customised by the riders according to their own spirit and mood by drawing on the broad range of Ducati Performance accessories . Among the most appealing items: the rally saddle, which marries the rider and passenger seats for greater effectiveness in off-road activities, and the additional 8-l tank. Touring experience can be further improved with the aluminum side panniers which, combined with the top case, give the bike a total load capacity amount of 117 l, additional LED spotlights, central stand and heated grips. Termignoni exhausts are also available, both homologated and racing. The latter increases the values of power and torque of +7% thanks to the dedicated mapping.
Ducati DesertX intense character deserved a special homage. That’s why the Ducati Centro Stile designed, for the first time, a dedicated capsule collection that takes up the livery of the bike. An outstanding line inspired by the iconic “Dakarian style” and named 21/18, a celebrative tribute to this bike’s tyres size. The technical suit includes jacket, trousers and helmet and will be available in a limited edition. Part of this exclusive collection is a range of lifestyle apparel, specifically designed for this model, consisting of a sweatshirt, two T-shirts and a cap.
The DesertX will be available at dealerships in the Ducati network starting from May 2022. The motorcycles will also be available in a depowered version for A2 license holders. The Bologna-based motorcycle company offers the exclusive “4Ever Ducati” warranty, valid for 4 years with unlimited mileage that relies on the service offered by the entire network of dealers***.
The video-presentation of the new DesertX can be viewed on the Ducati YouTube channel. Star of this exciting video is five-time Enduro world champion Antoine Meo, who had the pleasure of appreciating the excellent potential of this bike at the Fossil Rock in the Sharjah Desert of the United Arab Emirates.

The zipper along the waist allows the jacket to be joined to the trousers.
The Ducati Corse Tex Summer C3 technical jacket, on the other hand, is specifically designed for hot-humid climates and for the summer season. It guarantees excellent thermal comfort even on the hottest days thanks to the removable windproof inner lining and the mix of mesh and light fabric that ensures excellent ventilation. The safety of the garment is confirmed by aluminium inserts on the shoulders, by composite protections on the elbows and by the predisposition for the insertion of the back protector.

In the Touring line, two outfits stand out which are the ideal travel companions to make every ride unforgettable. Both were designed by Aldo Drudi and produced by Ducati.
The Tour C4 jacket and trousers outfit represents the perfect combination of features and design: light and resistant, practical and quick to change into. The Tour C4 is characterized by the possibility of adjusting the space on the arms, waist and hips, combined with the air vents on the arms, torso and legs. The waterproof and breathable membrane and the thermal lining, which is a quilted jacket that can also be worn separately, allow this garment to be efficient in all weather conditions. Safety is guaranteed by CE certified protectors on shoulders and elbows, and the jacket is designed for the insertion of the back protector.
The Atacama C2 outfit is a total look dedicated to adventure in a perfect combination of performance, style and safety. The outfit features three modular layers with thermal lining and H2Out® waterproof membrane for maximum comfort in all conditions. Practicality and comfort of the garment are maximized by the air vents, space adjustments and elasticated areas. The jacket’s excellent versatility is also due to the detachable sleeves, to the resealable shoulder protection bag and the zip to match the trousers.
The big news in the Urban line is the Heritage C2 jacket, designed for city riding. The unmistakable look of this garment is inspired by the historic Ducati Meccanica brand dating back to the mid-1950s. The urban design that characterize this product matches perfectly with important CE certified safety features, such as protections on shoulders and elbows and is designed for the insertion of a back protector.
Finally, Ducati offers an extensive Lifestyle range, including various Ducati and Ducati Corse sweatshirts and t-shirts, featuring new graphics with bold lines and colours. Within this collection, the Ducati Corse Thrill windproof jacket, available for both men and women, has also been renewed. The Ducati Corse Thrill is the ideal garment for fans of the Ducati Corse brand, who want to wear their passion even in their free time. The three-layer stretch soft-shell fabric guarantees excellent windproof protection as well as being highly breathable.

Ducati Global Dealer Conference 2021 concludes successfully
The annual Ducati Global Dealer Conference has come to a successful conclusion, during which Ducati was able to celebrate the excellent results achieved during the first nine months of the year with dealerships around the world. The company has in fact closed a record third quarter and exceeded the sales volumes obtained in the whole of 2020.
Once again, the Ducati Global Dealer Conference took place entirely digitally. Digitization plays a key role in Ducati's strategic path, allowing the company to seize new opportunities and get even closer to both enthusiasts and all partners, offering high-level services even from a distance.
The decision to hold the meeting in virtual mode for the second consecutive year gave Ducati dealerships around the world the opportunity to connect directly with Borgo Panigale remotely. Not only that, all Ducati employees around the world, in smart working or in the office, were also able to connect to discover the 2022 range in a preview reserved for participants.
In total, more than 5,000 users, connected from 89 different countries, attended the Global Dealer Conference, which represents one of the most significant moments of the year for Ducati. On this occasion, the company had the opportunity to meet with its global network of dealerships, taking stock of the incredibly positive year just ended and planning all activities for the next one, with the presentation of the new models in the range and the sharing of corporate strategy.
During the convention, Ducati wanted to make all participants feel an integral part of the Borgo Panigale family through various moments of discussion and interaction between users. A chat with Francesco Milicia, Ducati's VP Global Sales & After Sales, was always active, as well as a virtual coffee lounge that allowed various users to network. A virtual tour of the Ducati Museum and Factory is a must for a true Borgo Panigale Experience.
The highlight of the 2021 edition of the Global Dealer Conference was the live streaming – reserved for participants – with the preview presentation of the Ducati models for 2022. Thanks to simultaneous translation in eight languages, dealerships around the world were able to discover all the characteristics of the new Ducati and Ducati Scrambler products. In addition, in an exclusive virtual “closed room”, those present were able to ask questions about the new bikes directly to the engineers and technicians who developed the projects.
The convention ended with the Ducati Dealer Awards ceremony, in which the best dealers of 2021 for each geographical area were recognized for their activities. The “Best Ducati Cares & Online Sales Adapter” award was confirmed once again this year, dedicated to the dealer who has stood out the most in terms of the digital sector and the Ducati Cares program, developed to allow Ducatisti from all over the world access to dealerships in complete safety.
During the year, Ducati significantly extended its global sales network through strategic agreements and openings in the main cities around the world such as Barcelona and Madrid in Spain, Chengdu and Qingdao in China, San Bernardino in the United States, Tokyo in Japan and Paris in France. The collaboration with the Audi sales network in this context has proved successful, giving rise to new partnerships in various markets such as Thailand, Russia and Brazil.
